Today, the MediaTek announces an important cooperation with Intel, to offer support 5G on laptops supported by Intel.
Τher 5G modem MediaTek is in progress, and now the company is entering into strong alliances and partnerships to promote it in devices other than Smartphones.
With this partnership, consumers will be able to browse, stream and play games faster on their computers, but also with 5G will come new innovations that we have not imagined yet.
The independent manufacturers that will benefit from this new partnership are Dell and HP. We will see the first implementation of MediaTek 5G Modem available on laptops with Windows, in early 2021.
MediaTek 5G modem for these laptops and based on Intel, will be the modem Helio M70 5G announced last May. MediaTek is going to announce tomorrow its first 5G SoC intended for smartphones.
