A new function that allows its users to share content with a limited circle of close friends develops Facebook.
Τits feature, by name "Favorites" ("Favorites"), leaked to the tech community and now seems to be confirmed.
This is a similar approach to mode "Close Friends" of Instagram, as the website states the verge. This will allow the social media user to manually select certain friends who will be in their inner circle.
Then, each time a story or photo that the user wants to share using Messenger is posted, it will be presented to the people on this list.
In essence, this is a point where all friends can see the content posted on the Facebook user's story and send it privately to friends via instant messaging. However, unlike Instagram, Facebook says this feature is not a way to limit who sees the actual story posted.
"Favorites" is referred to as an effort to encourage people to share more on Facebook, without worrying about the list of online friends who are casual acquaintances, which have accumulated over the years. In fact, it is in line with the efforts of its CEO Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, to turn the company's social networks into a more privacy-focused communications platform.
