There have been many reports from various members of our community that there has suddenly been a problem with contactless payments through Google Wallet – Google Pay

As it became known to several members of our community, a problem with contactless payments through the Google Pay.
As you can see in the screenshot above, Google informs us that the device does not meet the security requirements, and that you cannot pay contactless with this device.
Usually these problems occur on devices that have unlocked Bootloader or has been done Root in the operating system of the device. But in some of the mentioned cases none of the above applies, as the devices have the original Xiaomi ROM and the Bootloader has not been unlocked and neither has Root been done on the device.
It should be noted that the same issue had reoccurred in the past, and an Update made to the Google Wallet app was responsible, and the issue was fixed in the next update that Google released two days later.
How will you fix the problem?
Custom ROMs (XTRV community & Xiaomi.eu)
- If you have any of the XTRV ROM community then you should download the patched ROM that we have released from the link below. After the Flash the ROM it will fix the problem you have with it Google Wallet / Pay.
- If you have any ROM from the xiaomi.eu, then you should download the patched ROM released by their community from HERE.
Xiaomi ORIGINAL ROM
In case you have a locked Bootloader and an Original Xiaomi ROM installed on your device, there is no direct way to solve the problem and you should arm yourself with patience. The problem seems to occur solely under the responsibility of Google (it might not recognize the device ID correctly), and incorrectly sees your devices as not meeting security standards.
The problem is expected to be solved in a few hours, but you may have to wait for a few 24 hours until Google and Xiaomi provide a solution, and in case we have something new we will let you know.

I downloaded MI11Pro_MI11Ultra_V14.0.11.0.TKACNXM but still the wallet doesn't work... maybe I should lock the Bootloader too
I think the problem is fixed so at least they told me in a message sent to me after my question....
