NVIDIA: Announces GTX 1660 SUPER and GTX 1650 SUPER with a starting price of $ 229

Η NVIDIA announced two new graphics cards for the computer in the middle price range, the GTX 1660 SUPER and GTX 1650 SUPER.

Η GTX 1660 SUPER packs the same 1408 CUDA cores as the GTX 1660 and the same operating frequencies in 1530MHz and 1785MHz (Turbo). The only difference between the two cards is the use of faster and higher memory GDDR6 14Gbps on the GTX 1660 SUPER compared to the 8Gbps GDDR5 on the GTX 1660. NVIDIA claims that this makes the GTX 1660 SUPER 20% faster than the GTX 1660 and 1.5x faster than the GTX 1060 6GB.

On paper at least, the GTX 1660 SUPER is still worse than the GTX 1660 Ti, which has more CUDA cores (1536) but that's no reason not to buy the GTX 1660 SUPER, as the GTX 1660 Ti is not significantly faster than the standard GTX 1660. The GTX 1660 SUPER also has longer memory times.

Here the GTX 1650 SUPER, which has more CUDA cores (1280) than the GTX 1650 (896). It also has a higher base clock at 1665MHz and a higher turbo clock at 1485MHz. H GTX 1650 SUPER It also comes with faster memory at 12 Gbps GDDR6, although it is still limited to 4 GB of total memory. NVIDIA says all of this makes it GTX 1650 SUPER 50% faster than GTX 1650 and 2 times faster than GTX 1050.

Η GTX 1660 SUPER is currently sold through Nvidia partners, including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac with a starting price of 229 dollars.
