Intel: Accelerates the release of the 10nm Tiger Lake CPU

In the aftermath of its financial results, the Intel announced, among other things, that they will be released fairly soon 10nm Tiger Lake for laptops.

ΑThis statement does not necessarily mean that 10nm is coming to replace 14nm in some way, as the company is clear and states that these will remain the main pillar where its chips will be based in 2021.

With a few subdued reports about the future of the desktop platform, the company reported on the moves it has taken in the midst of the coronary crisis. More specifically, the company has helped support its employees by investing $ 100 million in additional benefits such as preventing and caring for those working in areas close to the pandemic.

In addition, it reassures consumers and investors, saying that its factories continue to respond to high demand by delivering orders to end customers on time, with a success rate of over 90%. In addition, efforts are being made to provide additional assistance to a large number of people in the community as well as its direct contributors, most of whom are based in Asia.

For the rest, the Client Computing Group, one of the company's main sources of revenue recorded revenue of $ 9.8, an increase of 14% over the same period last year, while the Data Center Group saw the largest increase with total gross revenue of $ 6.99 billion, a figure 42.7% higher than the same period last year.

Importantly, Intel did not mention enough about the future and failed to make forecasts for the end of the year, projecting the coronary situation as unstable, which will certainly negatively affect many markets, including the desktop.
