Last weekend we had two massive armed attacks, one with differences of 13 hours from the other.
Η one attack took place in Dayton, Ohio and the other in El Paso, Texas. The attacks killed 30 people and left dozens injured.
All of this would have been avoided if the US government had taken action. However, the planetary leader blames these attacks on video games.
For years now, most citizens have called for systematic inspections of weapons and their use to be defined and carried out. Unfortunately, however, state officials and officials remain inactive.
Of course, it seems that the state is looking for the cause of all these problems. According to US President Donald Trump and the Republicans, the culprits for the massive armed attacks are video games and not that gun ownership is almost free.
In particular, Republican Kevin McCarthy said that video games in which you shoot others turn people into beasts. He noted that he had been afraid for a long time that it would create a problem for future generations.
He blames the shootings on the toy industry, which teaches young people to kill, and the social networks that allow bullying.
McCarthy was not the only one to blame video games. Some other party members said that measures should be taken, that according to the data the perpetrators played at least 6 hours a day Fortnite, that the way the events took place and the shootings are quite reminiscent of the activity of players in video games, and so on.
Donald Trump, on the other hand, gave a speech in which he criticized only video games. The President of America stated that the glorification of violence in our society must stop. This includes scary and horrible video games that have become commonplace.
He added that it is very easy today for the troubled youth to integrate into a culture that promotes violence. And he stressed that a way must be found to reduce the problem or even eliminate it.
In the midst of all this, the video game organization issued a statement stating that as video games became more and more popular, the rates of violence decreased significantly.
He added that in countries other than the Americas, there is a marked reduction in violence and that no academic or non-academic research has been able to find a correlation between violent behavior and video games.
Note that this is not the first time that video games have been blamed for violence, and more. Also, emphasize that in the past the scapegoat was theater, books, movies and rap music. People will always find a scapegoat for not accepting the truth.
