Η Samsung officially announced that mass production of young people is starting 250GB SSDs which have the 6th generation memory 3-bit V-NAND 256Gb.
Χarin on 100 layers NAND (for the first time in the history of the industry), the new SSDs offer a write speed of 450μs and a read speed of 45μs, resulting in performance to be against 10% greater compared to the previous generation. At the same time, energy consumption is reduced by 15%.
The 6th generation V-NAND is ready in just 13 months after the launch of the previous one and that is why the cycle of mass production has shrunk by 4 months. This speed allows the company to offer better technology at competitive prices and of course to expand dynamically in the field of SSDs.
According to Samsung, relatively soon it will be able to launch the next 300-layer V-NAND memory simply by stacking three current memories on top of each other, without affecting system performance and stability.
