Voucher 200 euros: The applications for the subsidy for the purchase of tablet, laptop, desktop started today - What you need to know

The application platform for voucher 200 euros opened today, Monday April 5, while a second cycle will follow for those potential beneficiaries who do not receive their child benefit OPEC.


Εit's time voucher 200 euros with which 560.000 children and young people will be able to buy tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

Specifically, the following applies to the application phases for the voucher 200 euros:

In the first phase, families who received the OPEC child allowance in the first income category in 2020 will be able to apply. This category includes the vast majority of beneficiaries of the program.

In the second phase, the platform will be open to other beneficiaries who meet the income and social criteria of the program. Eligibility checks will be carried out mainly in an automated manner, by cross-referencing information from registries and from all the necessary information systems of public bodies, thus avoiding a time-consuming and bureaucratic process of checking documents for hundreds of thousands of applications.

Applications are submitted by the address https://digital-access.gov.gr and the platform was opened by 12:00 p.m..

Voucher 200 euros: The beneficiaries

Beneficiaries of voucher 200 euros are families with equivalent family income up to 6.000 who will receive a check for EUR 200 for each dependent child aged 4 to 24 years, who is studying in an educational structure in Greece

Specifically for the criteria is provided:

  • For a family with two parents and two children, gross income up to 12000 euros.
  • For a family with one child, gross income up to 10.500 euros.
  • For a family with one parent and one child, gross income up to 9.000 euros.

Beneficiary students will not need to apply to receive the relevant euro voucher for the purchase of technological equipment.

What can one buy with the voucher

With the "Digital Care" program, the voucher will be received by approximately 560.000 children and young people (4 to 24 years old) from 325.000 families.

The equipment categories covered by the program are:

    • Category 1: portable tablets
    • Category 2: laptops
      • Subcategory 2.1: notebooks,
      • Subcategory 2.2: chromebooks,
      • Subcategory 2.3: 2 in 1 (notebooks / tablets)
    • Category 3: desktops (desktops, all-in-one)
    • Category 4: Fixed Computer Peripherals (category 3 peripherals)
      • Subcategory 4.1: Computer monitor,
      • Subcategory 4.2: biceps,
      • Subcategory 4.3: computer camera,
      • Subcategory 4.4: headset for computer (headset),
      • Subcategory 4.5: Computer speakers,
      • Subcategory 4.6: Computer keyboard

Equipment category 4, can only be combined as additional equipment category 3
