Tianwen-1: Successfully launched into orbit around ARIS and China spacecraft

After the spacecraft Hope of the UAE which orbited the red planet, it was his turn Tianwen-1 of China to also be put into orbit successfully.

ΜArrivals to the planet Mars, as well as after the spacecraft Hope of the UAE put into orbit in order to study the changes in the atmosphere according to the season, it was the turn of tianwen-1 China to also be put on track successfully.

The difference tianwen-1 to Hope is that the former will remain in orbit for a few months and then attempt to land on the planet Mars and specifically on the plain Planetary Utopia. It should also be noted that the Chinese mission is the first to include at the same time orbiter, lander and rover for the study of Mars.

If all goes well, he will disembark his rover in order to study the geological composition below the surface to locate any traces of life. Scientists believe that there is ice beneath the surface and that future manned missions could potentially exploit this element.

His arrival follows in a few days NASA Perseverance (specifically on February 18 2021).
