Η Microsoft today in its presentation for Surface devices, the luxury tablets her, had several products to show us, but what caught the eye was Surface Neo.
ΠThis is a dual screen PC that will run on the new Windows 10X and is the first device to be announced with Intel's 11th generation Lakefield processor.
This is a new category and not just a new product, according to Microsoft. The device has two screens (9 inches each) and is foldable. The thickness of the device is only 5,6 mm and weighs only 655 gr. The screens are protected by Gorilla Glass and the company claims that this is the thinnest LCD ever made.
It looks like a notebook when folded. Supports the Surface Pen, which can be magnetically glued to the back.
The device can be used with many different setups, as you can use one screen and on the other to unfold the existing keyboard or turn the screens as you see fit, as if reading a book or magazine. The keyboard can be moved to use the screen either as a touchpad or otherwise.
Additionally, the new Windows 10X appears to have a new start menu and taskbar, but is similar to Windows 10. You can open applications on any screen you want and they will automatically update as you change the device setup.
Microsoft Surface Neo will be released at the end of 2020.
