Η MediaTek The new generation chipset was released today Helio P65. This SoC uses processing technology in 12nm and comes to offer users an enhanced gaming and photography experience.
Το Helio P65 chipset incorporates two powerful processors ARM Cortex-A75 and six processors Cortex-A55 in a large L3 cache memory cluster. These processors are combined with the ARM GPU, G52. THE MediaTek states that its overall performance P65 has increased by 25% compared to competing products using the older generation octa-core architecture.
Performances
With regard to specific parameters, the Helio P65 uses octa-core architecture. The two ARM Cortex-A75 cores are clocked at up to 2 GHz, while the other six Cortex-A55 cores are clocked at 1,7 GHz. The set of eight cores shares a large L3 cache. Its heterogeneous information technology MediaTek, CorePilot, can achieve intelligent task scheduling, intelligent temperature control management and monitoring of user habits. This ensures the reliability and consistency of its performance. Thus, it offers an upgraded gaming experience.
The Helio P65 incorporates voice alarm capabilities, while being optimized for platform size and power usage. THE MediaTek It also separates audio channels for voice commands and telephones from audio channels for media and games.
Camera
The new SoC supports dual camera configuration up to 16MP + 16MP. Unlike other basic products, the Helio P65 supports the popular 48MP (4-unit) camera in addition to multiple cameras. This SoC offers a variety of hardware accelerators, including a professional class depth camera for bokeh effects, electronic image stabilization technology (ICE CREAM) and roller curtain compensation technology (RSC) for ultra-fast motion or panoramas of up to 240 frames per second. It also supports distortion video (Jello effect) that can be gently offset when you take photos and when the ambient lighting conditions suddenly change, the CCU automatically adjusts the exposure (Instant AE) for faster focusing.
Other possibilities
The Helio P65 is equipped with an upgraded inertial navigation engine. The company officially claims to offer greater accuracy in positioning when navigating indoors, in a basement or in a tunnel. The Helio P65 supports dual 4G VoLTE for better voice and video calling quality, faster connectivity, more reliable coverage and lower power consumption. In addition, 802.11ac connectivity provides fast Wi-Fi performance, while Bluetooth / Wi-Fi coexist simplifies product design and ensures reliable user performance.
Compared to the previous generation, the AI (artificial intelligence) performance of the Helio P65 is up to 2 times higher. At the same time, AI camera functions such as object recognition (Google Lens), Smart Album Sorting, Scene Detection, Image Fragmentation, Background Removal, and Portraiture have AI processing speeds 30% faster than competing products.
Finally, the MediaTek said that Helio P65 is now in mass production and the final products will be available in July.
