Specifications
The 820 5G is one 7nm processor and is the upgraded version of the Kirin 810. Starting with the CPU, there we find 8 cores in a 1-3-4 configuration. The main core is a Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.36GHz. Next, we have three Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.22GHz and four Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.84GHz.
The GPU of the Kirin 820 5G is Mali-G57 which has six cores, but the company did not mention its timing. However, the GPU comes with a new feature referred to as Kirin Gaming + 2.0 and helps improve gaming performance.

Inside the 820 5G there is a new NPU and the Kirin ISP 5.0. The ISP is 15% improved in terms of energy efficiency and offers a 30% reduction in image noise. It's about the same ISP as the Kirin 990.
The Kirin 820 5G offers 27% better performance compared to the 810, it has 38% improved GPU and 73% more efficient AI. In addition, it supports SA and NSA, and dual-mode 5G.
