A year has already closed by start of cooperation between ELTA and Amazon for the distribution of its parcels in Greece, in a deal that exceeded expectations.
Σday, on a monthly basis, through Croatian Hub, ELTA manages daily 70% of European volume of Amazon in GREECE.
One of the first major collaborations of the Hellenic Post Office in the delivery of items was crowned with great success. ELTA during this period handed over the 95% of the objects within or earlier than the relevant deadlines.
The agreement provides strict goals to achieve deliveries at specific times according to the high standards set by Amazon internationally.
Amazon trusted the group ELTA, having previously tested its performance at each level. The collaboration started in pilot level, but very quickly, before even 20 days had elapsed since its launch, Amazon executives found effectiveness and consistency in the goals they had set, leading to its expansion. Today, on a monthly basis, through the Croatian Hub, ELTA manages daily 70% of Amazon's European volume in GREECE.
Organizations - giants of the global e-commerce, such as Amazon, give great importance in their customer experience. For the ELTA Group, Amazon's trust demonstrates its reliability in managing items internationally.
An important role in achieving the strict deadlines for the delivery of Amazon parcels to the recipients also played the new robotic sorting system, which has increased the possibility of management in this process fivefold, offering exceptional times, but also the possibility of delivery the next day.
The cooperation with Amazon is a milestone for the transformation of ELTA as it confirms the return of the organization to full competitiveness and has paved the way for the conclusion of new international collaborations, but also the expansion of collaborations with large Greek business groups.
It is recalled that within a year ELTA has signed new agreements, serving large retailers such as H&M, while at the same time it has regained the trust of large domestic groups and banks such as OTE Group, Motor Oil Group, EYDAP, PPC, Protergia, the banks NATIONAL, EUROBANK and ALPHA, Interamerican etc. for the distribution of mail and accounts.
At the same time, the transformation of ELTA continues, which includes:
- in-depth restructuring of the group operations (new products, network renewal, upgrading of sorting centers and joint support functions between the companies)
- digital transformation technology utilization functions (robotic sorting, digital postman, smart mailboxes)
