Super Soldiers: Is China trying to make its own version of Captain America?

The American secret services want China to try to create a super-soldier, according to a BBC report.

Μonly the reality behind the reports is even more ominous: such superstructures are no longer outrageous at all, and China is also not the only one interested in troops new generation.

Where military supremacy is at stake and with plenty of funding on their side, many national armies are launching technological innovations.

Ο Barack Obama, for example, announced in 2014 such a new US initiative and typically told reporters: "Basically I'm here to announce that we're making Iron Man».

The president spoke about a bulletproof exoskeleton, the Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (Talos), which, however, was not to succeed. Five years later, the program ended.

Functional exoskeletons that give super powers to the soldier have been dreamed of by many since then. In 2017 the Vladimir Putin he had also warned humanity that more and more people would make something "even worse than a nuclear bomb".

What about China

Already last year the former head of the national intelligence service of USA (DNI), John Ratcliffe, had openly accused China:

«China has even conducted human experiments on members of its People's Army hoping to develop biologically enhanced soldiers. There are no moral barriers in Beijing to the search for absolute power", He had written in an article in Wall Street Journal.

China responded by noting that the post "full of lies». But is it true or false?

2019 survey by two American academics claims that the Chinese military is "openly exploring" such practices of gene mutations, exoskeletons, and even machine-human cooperation.

However, scientists believe that we are still far from such technologies. Not because we can not, but because we do not want to.

Η Dr Helen O'Neill, his geneticist University College Londonhe told her with the BBC that such genetic engineering practices are now commonplace in fields such as agriculture, but their human use is dismissed as immoral for the time being.

However, there are analysts who believe that China is working feverishly for the super-soldier, and this as a direct response to US investigations.

The Guardian revealed 2017 that both the US and China are studying technologies that o ΟΗΕ warned that they could have military consequences.
