Η AnTuTu performance measurement platform, published the list of the top 10 Android smartphones for May 2019. This list was published taking into account the average comparison score of each smartphone between May 1 and May 31 in the AnTuTu Benchmark v7 application. Some models are not on the list because AnTuTu had less than 1000 samples this month.
The April list was dominated by devices with the 7nm Snapdragon 855 and at the end there were some with the 8nm Exynos 9820. At the top was the Xiaomi Mi 9, with the Xiaomi Mi BlackShark 2 and Samsung Galaxy S10 + following closely.
The scene changed a lot in May thanks to the release of the OnePlus 7 Pro, while the Samsung Galaxy with Snapdragon was replaced by the Samsung Galaxy with Exynos.
After two months at the top the Xiaomi Mi 9 was dethroned from the OnePlus 7 Pro. The device is the first on the market with UFS 3.0 and received an average rating of 373953.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 and the Xiaomi Mi BlackShark 2 now occupy the second and third place with 373.953 and 366.9224 ratings respectively. All three smartphones have the Snapdragon 855.
In fourth place will be the LG V50 ThinQ 5G, which conquers the top of the 5G in terms of performance, with an average rating of 343.434, which as expected because the device is equipped with the Snapdragon 855, has 6Gb of RAM and 128GB of storage space.
In the next four places we will find Samsung devices which are equipped with the 8nm Exynos 9820. The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth place are held by Samsung Galaxy S10 +, Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10e with a rating of 333.309 , 331.960, 330.638 and 329.853 respectively.
The list is completed by Huawei devices with the Kini 980. The Huawei P30 made the difference by passing the Huawei P30 Pro, and scoring on AnTuTu 304.161 against 300.789.
In the June list, we expect to see the recent Redmi K20 Pro, which is equipped with a Snapdragon 855, and logically will be very high in the rankings.
