The Antutu published the ranking of the most powerful Smartphones for September in China, for all devices belonging to the Premium and mid-range category
Like every month, so for October, the AnTuTu which is one of the most popular smartphone performance benchmarking apps, published it ranking of the most powerful smartphones based on the average score received by each device, from the tests carried out by the users of the application.
This ranking is for metrics posted by 1st – 30 September 2023, and is divided into two main categories :
- On category of flagships or the devices equipped with the best specifications and the best processor
- and a second one middle class which corresponds to devices equipped with standard specifications, with enough sub-diaster and cheaper processor.
Regarding the results, device ranking for October 2023 it doesn't show many surprises compared to the previous month as there weren't many new device releases during this period.
Flagship Category
In this category, the podium is occupied by three models equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which remains the most powerful SoC currently on the market.
So in the first three we find the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro (with 1662767 rating), the iQOO 11S (1645443) and Red Magic 8S Pro+ (1629654).
Middle class
As far as mid-range devices are concerned, the situation is very different.
The first place is occupied by realme GT Neo5 SE with scoring average 1149733, follows in second place the Redmi Notes 12 Turbo with 1148560. and the third place is occupied by the iQOO Neo7 SE with scoring average 959160 by Dimensity 8200 processor from Mediatek.
The two devices at the top are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 + Gen 2 processor, which seem to perform much better overall than devices with processors from Mediatek
The above tables published by the Antutu they only concern the devices that have been released in the Chinese market, but the results for all the other devices that have become available in the global market are expected to be announced soon.
The AnTuTu it can be a useful tool for comparing the performance of different Smartphones, but this is not the only factor you should consider when choosing a new device.
In addition to the performance of the devices in various Benchmark, you should also take into account other important parameters – such as for example o design, the camera, the autonomy, but also the overall experience that the devices offer in daily use.
