Acer: Official Triton 500 and Nitro 5, the new generations of gaming laptops with 10th generation Intel Core

Acer introduces the new Predator Triton 500 and Acer Nitro 5 gaming notebooks.

ΠAfter the significant development in the field of thermal efficiency, these devices have the latest processor 10th generation Intel Core and the recently arrived graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX SUPER and GTX GPUs.

Predator Triton 500 - Top performance, low temperatures

Thanks to the processor 10th generation Intel Core for high performance notebooks and graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER ή 2070 SUPER GPU with Max-Q Design, the Predator Triton 500 is able to cope with even the most difficult challenges. Gathering such power and offering up to 7,5 hours of battery life allows for impressive productivity, making it an excellent choice for work and play.

The pioneer of the 300 Hz IPS panel, with a fast response time of 3 ms, displays all the action with smooth and vivid details, covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut, while at the same time supporting multiple viewing angles. Technology NVIDIA G-SYNC reduces tearing and minimizes lag.

The Predator Triton 500 bear Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 wireless controller, E3100G Ethernet controller and Control Center 2.0 to take network connection quality to new levels, ensuring that applications that require speed gain bandwidth as a priority. All this power is contained in a thin (17,9 mm) and very light (2,1 kg) metal frame, with thin margins and a screen-to-body ratio of 81%. The notebook has up to 32GB DDR4 memory and up to 2TB NVMe, RAID 0 SSD storage.

Vortex Flow: Custom cooling technology

The Predator Triton 500 has its own technology Acer Vortex Flow, a new design, which includes three custom fans, strategically placed on the chassis, which work in parallel to increase the additional air flow, while reducing noise. This feature is further enhanced by the technology coolboost, which increases fan speed for improved performance. Gamers can monitor the temperature of the device and adjust the fan speed through it PredatorSense UI.

The notebook's advanced cooling system also has a metallic 3D fan AeroBlade 4th generation, specially designed to maximize airflow and reduce noise. The serrated edges, the winglets and a convex fin allow to increase the air flow by 45%. Acer Nitro 5

The Acer Nitro 5 has a processor Intel Core i7 10 generation with 5 GHz operating frequency and choice of graphics between GeForce RTX 2060 and the latest GeForce GTX 1650Ti or 1650 GPU. It has two M.2 PCle SSDs and a 1TB HDD as storage and up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM in two DIMM slots, which can be upgraded by the user. Available with a 15,6-inch IPS FHD display, gamers will especially appreciate the much improved images in the 2020 model. Models with a refresh rate of 144Hzor 120Hz and a response time of 3 ms offer blur-free gameplay, which comes to life in the 300-nit panel 72% NTSC of the device.

The Acer Nitro 5 comes with many innovative thermal solutions to maximize cooling efficiency, even during demanding tasks. It has a dual fan cooling system, which utilizes the strategically placed air inlet / outlet ports and four air ducts, to achieve 25% more overall improvement in thermal efficiency, compared to the corresponding model of 2019.

Thermal efficiency is perfected thanks to CoolBoost technology, which is able to increase fan speed by 10% and CPU / GPU cooling by 9%. New additions to this year's model are the Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (802.11ax) and Killer Ethernet E2600 that increase network stability and performance, allowing gamers to take full advantage of these thermal improvements.
