Xiaomi Responds to Rumors of Launching a Budget-Friendly Car Under the Redmi Brand Name
Xiaomi has finally entered the electric vehicle market, and the company's first EV car, the Xiaomi SU7 EV, was unveiled last week in China and has already started appearing in stores.
Although it is the company's first car, it has managed to impress everyone with its smart features like the self parking. However, when it comes to Xiaomi, most people look for the company in addition to top quality, and low prices. That is why there have been some rumors about the launch of a budget-friendly car under the Redmi Brand Name.
So, today Xiaomi is officially responding to these rumors officially through its Weibo account.
Xiaomi Auto recently published an article titled “Xiaomi Auto Answers 100 Questions from Users (Part 1)” on her official Weibo account. One of the much awaited questions was whether Xiaomi plans to build an affordable car under the Redmi Brand Name.
As is known, Xiaomi offers premium products, smartphones and other devices, while its subsidiaries such as Redmi and the Poco provide more affordable options with comparable features.
However, in the field of electric vehicles, this possibility does not currently exist, and as Xiaomi points out, in electric vehicles there is no such possibility, at least not for now.
