Η Microsoft seems to be ready to introduce one new file recovery tool in next update of Windows 10.
Η This news comes from "The verge“. This tool will be one console tool which will allow users to recover files that have been accidentally deleted. These files are included mp3, mp4, PDF, JPEG and Office files.
The recovery tool is already available for download from the Microsoft Store and requires Windows 10 version 19041.0 and later.
Η lack of GUI It may be a deterrent to some users, but in any case it is software that is available for free. It is reminded that a file is not completely deleted from Windows even if it is cleared from the Recycle Bin.
All it does is inform the operating system that specific storage addresses are available for registration. The file data is still on disk, at least until it is modified by new data from another file.
For this reason it is important, when we find that we have lost a file, not to proceed with any recording on the disk until the recovery attempt. Otherwise, the chances of recovery are reduced.
