Η Xiaomi seems to be preparing for a "landing" in the US with an event on December 8 in New York, where it will present its products, in an attempt to enter the US market.
The announcement of the event was made via Reddit by the account of Aaron Yang, Operational Project Manager, where he invites people to see up close and use the latest and greatest Xiaomi products, and apparently it is not only about smartphones since the company has products such as headphones, power banks, security cameras and electric scooters.
It is not known what products will be presented at this event but the fact that the Operational Project Manager states that it will be the largest party that Xiaomi has organized to date, is filled with promises and anticipation for what the Chinese company is preparing. It should be noted, however, that there is no official distributor of Xiaomi products in the US and a move by the company for its official presence in this market would be to be expected.
Xiaomi has already shipped 100 million smartphones in 2018 and has two devices, the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, which are part of the Android One program, "run" stock Android and would fit perfectly to the consumer public of the west and only time will show the course of the company in the US market.
