The Redmi Note 12R which was recently launched in China may soon be launched with a different name in the international markets
Recently Xiaomi launched in China the Redmi Notes 12R, which is equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 with support for 5G networks. While Xiaomi is yet to confirm its intention to launch this device in other markets, the well-known tipster, Kacper Skrzypek, declares sure that the Redmi Notes 12R it will soon be released under a different name in the international markets.
According to a recent tweet from Kacper Skrzypek, Xiaomi's new Redmi Note 12R is expected to launch globally with the name Redmi 12 5G. Moreover, the device is also likely to be made available in the Indian market as Poco M6 Pro 5G. It should be noted that the Poco M5 Pro is yet to launch in India, which suggests the possibility that Xiaomi may skip it altogether and launch the Redmi Note 12R as Poco M6 Pro 5G.

The Redmi Note 12R features 6,79 inch LCD screen which offers analysis Full HD + and refresh rate at 90 Hz, while the touch sample rate at 240Hz ensures the smooth response to the touch, and the DC Dimming improves the display quality of the screen.
The device is equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC recently introduced, providing connectivity to 5G networks, and is combined with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage, offering plenty of space for storage and improved Multi-tasking.
In terms of photography, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup at the rear, with the main sensor at 50MP, accompanied by a depth sensor at 2MP, while at the front we have the Selfie camera with 5MP sensor.
The phone "runs" it MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and powered by a battery at 5.000mAh which supports charging on 18w.
