If any of you are in a hurry and want to buy it Redmi K40 Gaming Edition released in China, just forget it because you will have a lot of problems from lacking it Google GMS core.

To Redmi K40 Gaming Edition recently released in China, is one of the most interesting additions in the world Gaming smartphone.

The device is very affordable in terms of price, but at the same time very rich in features. And of course, having one Killer combination Value For Money, manages to gain the attention of all lovers of games for Smartphones.

The popularity of the device has skyrocketed, and this can be seen from the sales it makes in China, since all stocks were exhausted within a minute at the first Flash Sale that took place on April 30th.

This device has not yet been released in other markets, and those who plan to buy it from someone e-shop of China will have to reconsider this decision, as the device can not "run" any of its applications Google.

Android Smartphones sold in China do not have them pre-installed Google services or GMS (Google Mobile Services), due to their ban in the country, however, most users were able to install the Google App Suite with SideLoad, through the installation of special applications (APK) from third party developer websites.

But in the new Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, this is no longer the case, as Xiaomi has not included the GMS Framework in MIUI versions that are exclusively for China, so that Google applications can work.

Redmi K40 Gaming Edition does not support Google applications

The lack of support for Google applications was confirmed by a report on its website GizmoChina, and as confirmed this Google GMS core lack can not be bypassed.

Its lack Google GMS core Xiaomi devices sold in China have nothing to do with the Huawei blockade and are not the same thing. Xiaomi had announced quite some time ago that it will no longer include Google GMS on all devices running the Chinese ROM, and this was done to free up storage space from Google files that do not need to be in the operating system.

So Xiaomi stopped integrating it GMS Framework by updating to MIUI 12.5, and Redmi K40 Gaming Edition has been made available with this version of MIUI. Therefore, those who plan to buy the device from a Chinese e-shop will not have any luck to be able to install the necessary Google Services, unless Xiaomi finally decides to include them in its next upgrade. MIUI, if there is a lot of pressure from users and the company's FAN.

But apart from the new Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, and soon all the older Xiaomi Smartphones in China that will receive the update at MIUI 12.5, will stop supporting Google GMS, thus removing direct support for all Google services.

What should be made clear is that all owners of devices in other markets should not worry, as in no case does anything change for those devices that have been released in markets other than China. These devices will continue to have ROMs with all the necessary Google files and will not have any such restrictions.

Rumors have it that soon Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will be available outside of China but under a different name and below Her Brand Name POCO.

So, it is expected to be released soon in Europe as well Poco F3GT, which of course will be its clone Redmi K40 Gaming Edition released in China, in which case the device will have absolutely no problem with Google services.

That's it Poco F3 GT, like the Redmi K40 GE, will be equipped with Dimensity 1200 Soc from Mediatek, will have 6,67 inch AMOLED screen with a renewal rate of 120 Hz, RAM up to 12 GB and storage space up to 256 GB. The battery capacity will be at 5065 mAh and there will be support for fast charging on 67 watts.

The device will also have a large and powerful liquid cooling system, will have stereo speakers which are tuned by JBL, and will be equipped on the back with a Triple Camera Module with the main sensor on 64MP.
