Released Qualcomm three new 4G Chipsets, coming to meet the needs from low cost devices to those of the middle class.
Μcan everyone justifiably discuss it 5G, but if we look at it realistically it will take plenty of time until it is done… mainstream. For this and for quite some time still 4G devices they will have the upper hand.
Especially in this category a user can find several economical budget-friendly solutions, it is almost certain that the manufacturers will come up with low cost devices for a long time yet.
This category also targets 3 new chipsets recently presented by Qualcomm and which essentially cover the range of upper mid-range and reach up to low end smartphones.
More specifically, the Snapdragon 720G is aimed at mobile gaming enthusiasts, who are looking for a more affordable solution and are not ready to make a fortune for a powerful smartphone that has the Snapdragon 865 inside.
That chipset comes with 8 kryo 465 cores, which are combined with Adreno GPU 618, with Qualcomm typically stating that this SoC is designed to offer HDR gameplay, dynamic color range, high fidelity audio and support for photo capturing up to 192MP.
And the "medium" Snapdragon 662 does not offer much more compared to its predecessor, as it has minor improvements that do not impress. With octa-core CPU (Kryo 260 at 2GHz), it does not offer 4K video recording, while it can support camera sensors that reach the 48MP.
The exact opposite is Snapdragon 460, which may be a chipset for low-budget devices, however it comes with a number of improvements that definitely make you take your hat off to Qualcomm.
The 8 Kryo 240 cores perform 70% better and the GPU offers it 60% more improved results compared to its predecessor, with Qualcomm typically stating that it offers twice as much performance as the previous generation. It is worth noting that in addition to her double efficiency, its designers have significantly improved and quality of mobile photos (what else to ask since we are talking about a low-end category).
