The new Pro model has a design that ranks it among the classic Xiaomi Bands and smartwatches available to the company. It comes with a AMOLED touchscreen at 1,64″ which is significantly larger than the screen that the simple Band 7 has. The screen has a pixel density of 326 ppi, analysis 280 x 456p and supports the AOD (always active screen). The size of the screen, as well as its almost square shape, allows for easier reading of the information displayed on it.
In addition, the Band 7 Pro comes with over 180 different watch faces (Watcfaces), and includes an additional ambient light sensor, which enables automatic brightness (something absent from the simple Mi Band 7).
The Mi Band 7 Pro provides support for monitoring the percentage of oxygen in the blood (SpO2), the continuous monitoring of heart rate and sleep quality. If it detects that your blood oxygen levels are too low, it will vibrate to alert you immediately of your health problem.
It is also possible to track them three stages of sleep – light, deep and REM sleep – using the advanced sleep tracking feature. As for the other features, most of them are identical to the regular Mi Band 7 that was launched recently.
In addition to the above, it supports the statistical analysis and tracking for 117 different sports activities, and has built-in NFC and GPS receiver that allow you to monitor your activities in all outdoor areas, even when you do not have your smartphone with you.
It has support for more than 10 different types of running at different skill and intensity levels: Interval Training (MIIT) – Aerobic endurance training and more.
In addition, the new Xiaomi fitness tracker is waterproof up to 5ATM (~ 50 meters depth) and powered by a battery at 235mAh. Xiaomi claims it has autonomy up to 12 days with a single charge, while the battery charging time is approximately one hour. The built-in GPS receiver that the device has is an additional important advantage that the Pro version has over the simple Band 7. In addition, all kinds of satellite networks are supported such as GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS.

Pricing and availability
At its launch in China, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro will cost 380 yuan (56 $ / 54 € approximately) for a few days, and the retail price will be set to 400 yuan soon after (59 $ / 57 € approximately) after the first sale.
The strap is made of silicone and will be available in a variety of colors such as green, blue, orange, pink and white. There is still no information about the release of the device in the global market.
