Coronavirus: The course of Greece in relation to Belgium, the Netherlands and Portugal

Figures showing the number of cases and casualties in Greece and comparisons with others European countries.

ΑIt seems that the measures taken by the government and their observance by the majority of the citizens put a "brake" on the spread of the coronavirus in Greece, as government spokesman Stelios Petsas said during a briefing for political authors.

In fact, Mr. Petsas said that "staying at home in April, in May we will be able to enjoy the results of our responsible attitude.

Asked about this "brake" in the course of the spread of the disease, Mr. Petsas explained that the government is constantly updating the data it has on the number of cases and victims and showed two diagrams with their development.

According to the diagram with the number of cases coronavirus, in Greece until yesterday it was 1.735, while in European countries with a similar population, such as Portugal or Belgium, their number is five digits.

Respectively, regarding the victims, in Greece until yesterday it was 73 - today we know that they have reached at least 76, with three more dead- while in Portugal it was 295 and in Belgium it reached 1447.

«Indeed, Greece is doing much better than other European countriesNoted Mr. Petsas.
