ΣThe big event organized by the Chinese technology giant Huawei, presented a series of new products, such as the new Huawei MatePad Pro, the MateBook D 14/15, The Huawei Sound X, which we will see below and several more.
The Huawei Sound X is a high-end speaker developed in collaboration with Devialet. Devialet is a French technology company that specializes in creating high quality amplifiers, speakers and more. This collaboration brings us an advanced speaker, the design of which is inspired by the Golden Hall in Vienna.
The Sound X has a fully symmetrical design with a diameter of 165mm, a height of 203mm and a weight of 3,5 kg. The speaker uses an NCVM (non-conductive vacuum coating) manufacturing process, which means it has a metallic texture while not affecting wireless signal transmissions. It is also quite resistant to scratches, water and moisture, while it can be cleaned with alcohol.
Features Huawei Sound X has a 60W dual subwoofer that uses patented signal processing technology. This, combined with the unique symmetrical subwoofer design calibrated by Devialet's laboratories in Paris, results in a shockingly great sound.
According to Huawei, this symmetrical "Push-Push" design also allows the interference created by one speaker to another to be canceled, resulting in a sound experience with rich energy without noise. The Sound X is the first Hi-Res certified smart speaker with sound up to 40kHz for richer high frequencies.
Sound X also supports a feature called "touch sound". This means that the sound will start playing through the speaker as soon as you touch it with your smartphone. Additionally, when an incoming call is detected, the speaker will stop playing. Finally, the Huawei speaker comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and supports 2.4 / 5Ghz WiFi.
The Huawei Sound X comes at a price of 1.999 yuan (€ 257) for one. While to have a stereo experience, they are also sold in pairs with the price almost doubling, to 3.888 yuan (€ 501).
