Η HUAWEI presented last December the P50 pocket, the company's first clamshell phone with a foldable screen, and now a cheaper model has been launched in China – the Pocket S
The device has the same foldable 6,9 inch FHD+ display which the P50 Pocket also has, with a screen ratio 21:9, refresh rate at 120 Hz and a small external one 1,04 inch AMOLED screen.
The phone draws inspiration from nature and is available in six colors including Black, Frost Silver, Mint Green, Pink, Primrose Gold, and Ice Crystal Blue. The other five colors have a luminous glass that forms a transparent ceramic texture, which can create a three-dimensional texture under different lighting.

The HUAWEI Pocket S costs 5988 yuan ($822 approx) for the version with 8 GB + 128 GB, 6488 yuan ($890 approx) for the version with 8GB + and 256GB, while the top model of the series with 8GB + 512GB costs 7488 yuan ($1028 approx).
The devices are available to order and will be released in China from 10 November. The version of 512 GB will be available from next December.
