Intel: 20GB of secret data was stolen and leaked by Hacker

The hacker managed to break all its security protocols Intel and yes steal more than 20GB of confidential data.

To 2020 probably not the year of Intel, as in addition to the "operation"Of her AMD in all mainstream market categories, recently acquired one more headache!

As it turned out, a team of experienced hackers managed to break all the security protocols of the well-known high-tech company and to steal more than 20GB of confidential data. The revelation was made by Till Kottmann, a software engineer by profession, who was informed of the theft by a hacker who wanted (of course) to remain anonymous.

Η leakage data confirmed by ZDNet, but also by researchers specializing in security, relates to a number of files which include information for technological patents and chipsets by Intel (including specifications, product guides and internal manuals) dating from 2016. The good thing is that this leak it does not affect directly to any customer or user of Intel processors, however there is a downside…

The fact that hackers currently have access in special processor functions but also in the Bios programming code this can be used in the future for even more severe and serious attacks. Intel said in a statement that it was investigating the case and acknowledged that much of the technology was currently in the wrong hands.
