Σaccording to recent reports, the Google is getting ready to launch the new one Google TV in March 2021. The Google hopes the new device will replace the current mainstream Android TV. However, it does not have a new operating system. Will still use Android but will have new User interface (UI). This decision will ensure connectivity with other smart-TVs, set-top boxes and other devices.
About its new features, the new Google TV will help its users to quickly find what they want to see, based on their preferences in various applications and subscriptions. For example, if the user wants to watch a horror movie, they can use the "Find horror movie" voice command and all the horror movies from all the installed applications and subscriptions will be displayed. This will effectively help users find the movies they want to watch, without having to search each application individually.
For now, the Google TV can be used with numerous applications such as Disney +, Netflix, YouTube etc.. Other platforms are expected to be integrated in the future. So far, there is no information about the price of the device nor do we know the exact release date. Of course, more information will be revealed in the coming weeks.
