A look at the back of the devices, both the Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 Lite XL sport repeat the design of Google's two color tones. But this time due to cost cuts, Google has replaced the glass back with a cheaper polycarbonate plastic. Nevertheless, the fingerprint detector was kept parallel to the simple rear camera introduced on the Pixel 3 models, but this time there is a noticeable bump (eyebrow) around the camera.
In addition to the above, the new Pixel 3 Lite series has a USB Type-C port, and there is a second speaker at the bottom of the device, and a 3,5mm plug at the top, which is definitely surprising, given that Google has removed the 3,5mm plug on its flagships.
According to previous leaks, the Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL will be powered by the Snapdragon 670. The selected processor will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. In addition, the devices will have Android 9 Pie, and a 2.915mAh battery for the smaller model. The battery capacity of the larger device remains unclear at this time.
The Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 Lite XL are expected to be released in early 2019, perhaps at CES or MWC. In terms of pricing, the smaller device is expected to be priced at between $ 400 and $ 500, while the larger model may cost up to $ 600.
