Many areas of Athens and the province were left without internet connection for at least half an hour on Thursday afternoon.

The telephone exchanges of most telephony companies "caught fire" on Thursday afternoon as shortly after 4 o'clock there was no possibility of internet connection in many areas of Athens while problems were also reported by the province.

According to the first information, the problem was located in the center of Med Nautilus in Koropi and affected the telecommunication companies that cooperate with the multinational. The problem was fixed and the internet connection was fully restored before 5pm.

At the same time, there was a problem in the area of ​​the Northern Suburbs - mainly in Melissia - which is due to the deactivation of two CAFAO after a power outage.
