World famous for its sophisticated creations and the expensiveness of its objects, the MB&F collaborated for the tenth time with the famous Swiss watchmaker L'Epée 1839 for something at least outrageous.
Medusa Clock they call it and it is a watch made of blown crystal Murano which can either be hung on the ceiling or placed on a surface.
It took more than two years to build the innovative mechanism of the clock, at the same time that the fluorescent numbers shimmer in the dark, actually referring to the ethereal form of the sea creature.
The Medusa consists of 231 pieces and 23 precious stones, while the elaborate mechanism consists of 151 components.
The complicated design of Fabrice Gonet in fact it was so demanding that only one manufacturer Murano crystals of the 40 approached by L'Epée 1839 agreed to build Medusa!
The luxury watch was released in three colors (green, pink and blue), exclusively in 50 pieces each.
It's an extreme creation of course for those occasions when the price goes down, as we talk about 23.600 euro...
