Today's announcements are important Disney on the streaming platform Disney +, as we learn for the first time in detail which devices will support it, the exact premiere date and the cost of the subscription in Europe (at least in the Netherlands).
Ξstarting from the last two, the Disney + will start its "race" on November 12 in the US, Canada and the Netherlands, while a week later (November 19) it will open its gates in Australia and New Zealand.
The subscription costs for the Netherlands was set at € 6.99 / month or € 69.99 / year and somewhere there we expect the assistance to remain for the rest of the European countries, when the expansion will take place. Note that the A subscription package that includes Hulu and ESPN will be available exclusively in the US for $ 12.99 / month.
As for the devices that will support Disney +, the company announced that it has reached an agreement with the majority of major manufacturers and from the premiere will be available for the following:
- Apple,: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Apple TV with payment system support
- Google: Android, Android TV, Chromecast and devices with built-in Chromecast
- Microsoft: Xbox One
- Sony: PS4 and Sony TVs with Android TV
- Roku
It is not known if the service Disney + will be accessible through the web browser or if different applications will be released for each platform, nor if the user will be able to log in to the same account on more than one device at a time.
