Diablo & Overwatch: Transfer to TV via NetFlix

In his footsteps Witcher and Diablo, as the creation of an animated show for Netflix.

Η  Transfer of video games to TV series or movies is gaining more and more ground, as there are now technical means to not make the final result look ridiculous, while in many cases the script of the games is much better than conventional productions.

Η Blizzard seems to be producing animation based on Diablo and Overwatch, as evidenced by the biography of its president Activision Blizzard, Mr. Nick Van Dyk, on the social network LinkedIn.

For the sake of truth, Mr. From Dyk states that in the course of his duties he is the executive producer of an animated show based on Diablo for Netflix, has participated in the development and sale of an animated show based on Overwatch and has overseen the preparation for its television and film adaptation Call of Duty.

Given the position held by Mr. From Dyk in Activision Blizzard we do not believe he is lying. However, there is no more information about the productions so far and the official position of the company is "no comment".

Those of you who are wondering what the animated version of Diablo could be, remember the cinematic of Diablo 4 that stuck with us last November.
