Qualcomm's new flagship processor to be "worn" on the top Android phones of the year, the Snapdragon 855, seems to be στον throwing in its direct competitor, Apple's A12 Bionic.
TAnTuTu is one of the most popular benchmark kits, an application that can measure the performance of a device. The company that created the program, AnTuTu Labs, often does its own testing, without mentioning a phone model.
This time its tests included the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, the processor that will be present in the Galaxy S10 (probably for the American version), LG G8, Sony Xperia XZ4 and others.
In the graph there is a nameless phone that has the SP845, but also the OnePlus 6T (which also has the Snapdragon 845). The differences between them are negligible and are obviously due to the optimization of the respective software used by each, which means that the final score of 855, on an optimized device, can be even higher.
It currently outperforms the top-of-the-line A12 Bionic (355.000 vs. SP362.110 855) chip that powers the iPhone XS / XS Max / XR.
