Android: New malware unveiled that can steal pin, pattern and two-factor authentication codes

Although the Google tries to limit as much as possible the malware on Android often new threats are identified which are often extremely important.

ΠAccording to a new study by ThreatFabric, its creators Cerberus banking Trojan made new changes to the malware which makes it one of the most dangerous in Google software.

The malware has Remote Access Trojan (RAT) and can be used by attackers to record various unlock codes such as PIN and motif. In addition, RAT has access to the codes provided by Google Authenticator for two-factor authentication.

This practically means that a hacker has the ability to easily unlock the victim's mobile. Additionally, the Trojan can provide one TeamViewer link through which the attacker can control the phone when it is not in use.

Finally, the ThreadFabric claims that the malware is still in the development stage as it has not yet been "advertised" in the malicious forums that exist on the internet.
