It is interesting to note that the timings detected by Futuremark SystemInfo module are different from those that had recently leaked. THE 3800XT seems to date to 3,80GHz / 4,70 GHz base / boost, while the 3900XT in 3,90GHz / 4,70GHz respectively. APISAK reports that the 3800XT scored 25.135 points in the FireStrike physics test.
According to a WCCFTECH report, the 3900XT surpasses the i9-10900K in single-threaded performance on the Cinebench R20. The 3800XT is within walking distance, while it exceeds the i7-10700KF. Such a single-thread performance proves that AMD aims with Matisse Refresh to improve single-threaded applications (but also those that do not require heavy parallelism), in other words, in games…
