Three new models are added to the collection of processors of the American company and are intended for enthusiasts who want the highest timings.
ΣThe official press release from AMD states all the necessary information we will need for the three new CPUs that will be officially released on the market on July 7.
The company is expanding its lineup with them AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT, AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT and AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT which incorporate six, eight and twelve processing cores respectively, with timings starting at 3.8GHz and reaching an impressive 4.7GHz for some models, as you will see from the official table below.
The base clocks of the processors do not change from the previous implementations, while in the boost clock of some models such as the Ryzen 7 3800XT we see the biggest increase, at 200MHz from the 3800X which practically replaces.
The other two processors have a 100MHz boost clock, indicating that they are only 'selected' models that have achieved higher timings in the company's laboratory, but incorporating TSMC's slightly optimized 7nm lithography. The suggested prices of the specifics are expected at $ 249 (3600XT), $ 399 (3800XT) and $ 499 for the dual-core 3900XT.
At the same time, information is becoming known about the A520, AMD's entry level chipset that will offer 'basic performance' for the third generation processors and beyond, while confirming that motherboards based on it, will also receive support for the company's future CPUs.
For the time being AMD is keeping its papers closed regarding the performance of the new processors and we hope to find out more before the end of the month.
