Η Acer proceeded to the presentation of her news Nitro 5 laptops and Swift 3 which are equipped with the processor AMD Ryzen Mobile second generation.
ΟThe announcements of the gaming laptop Nitro 5 and the elegant Swift 3 took place in the context of the Computex 2019 exhibition in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. In addition to the new 2nd generation AMD Ryzen Mobile processor, the new computers also incorporate the new Radeon Vega graphics platform, offering power and performance, streaming and gaming imaging as well as fast processing capability.
More specifically, the Nitro 5 features a 7nd generation AMD Ryzen 3750 2H processor and Radeon RX 560X graphics. Its screen can be either the 15,6-inch PS Full HD or the 15,6-inch IPS FHD 144hz panel with a screen-to-body ratio of 80%. At the same time, the Nitro 5 allows easy streaming gameplay with Gigabit Wi-Fi 5 with 2 × 2 MU-MIMO technology. Users can also connect auxiliary gadgets through ports such as HDMI 2.0 and USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbps).
The Nitro 5 features dual fans, Acer CoolBoost technology and a dual exhaust port, designed to keep your laptop cool during long gaming periods. CoolBoost increases fan speed by 10% and CPU cooling by 9% compared to automatic mode.
Finally, the new Nitro 5, brings the Acer Network Optimizer, which perfects online gaming and maintains fast data flow. A specially designed, easy-to-use GUI (graphical user interface) helps users adjust bandwidth, both in automatic mode (priority and categorization of programs to eliminate network problems) and manually allowing them to set priorities , change the bandwidth depending on the app or even block specific applications for a better experience.
The Swift 3, on the other hand, comes with a 7nd generation AMD Ryzen 3700 2U processor and Radeon Vega graphics. Optionally you can choose Radeon 540X graphics for more demanding tasks such as video editing or casual gaming. The system has a 14-inch IPS FHD screen with thin margins, elegant metal design, which opens 180 degrees, resulting in a flat. All the above are integrated in a very light and thin device, weighing only 1,45 kg and only 17,95 mm thick.
The Nitro 5 with 15-inch IPS Full HD screen will be available in Europe in July, with a starting price of 799 euros. The Acer Swift 3 with 14-inch IPS FHD screen will be available in Europe also from July, starting at 499 euros.
