In an update of the Directive adopted in 1998, the Authority analyzed the research covering 5G, the AM and DAB radio, the WiFi, the Bluetooth the 3G and 4G telephony. In a statement, ICNIRP President Eric van Rongen said that the most important result of the study was that "5G technologies do not have the potential to cause bodily harm if these instructions are followed».
He added that the proposals were more relevant than previous directives, which "in most cases were conservative".
The authority based its directive on scientific reports prepared by the World Health Organization, the European Commission, national teams of experts, and the ongoing monitoring of new research.
The president claims that the new authorities offer "better and more detailed exposure guidelines, specifically for the higher bandwidth, above 6 GHz, which is important for 5G and future technologies that will use these frequencies."
ICNIRP has highlighted restrictions on frequencies above 6 GHz, which include limited full-body exposure, confinement to small areas of the body for less than 6 minutes, and reduction of maximum permissible exposure to a small area of the body.
The GSMA said the updated directive maintained "a high level of protection, with the thresholds set well below the standard risks for all radio frequencies, from 2G to 5G".
The agency notes that this update will not change anything in the global availability of the new generation networks, as today's measurements showed that "the total exposure of all 5G telecommunications signals remains at a similar level to current mobile networks, and much more under up-to-date international safety guidelines ".

There is no way it will not affect humans as long as the antennae are presented and grow like mushrooms, multiple of the previous ones and within breathing distance from humans and from the beaches in general and the squares.

An "independent" scientific team has concluded that 5G does not affect human health (I will insist that only accredited state-owned scientific research matters to me).
