ΠWe recently heard rumors that in the next Microsoft consoles you will include a subscription service that will allow us to play games through the cloud. But it seems that Microsoft has already prepared another type of subscription service prepared much earlier.
As the The Verge, sources who contacted Microsoft's plans believe that the company is preparing a subscription service codenamed Project Largo, which will be renamed Xbox All Access after its announcement.
The main difference with Microsoft services so far is that this one will also contain the console itself. More specifically, in exchange for $ 35 a month, which is expected to be the initial price of the 24-month minimum service, we will have the Xbox One S or X, access to the Xbox Live Gold as well as the Xbox Game Pass.
So the service amounts to $ 840 for these two years of gaming, and probably more if we choose the Xbox One X. This price corresponds to an Xbox One S 1TB and about 9 AAA games.
Microsoft has experimented with hardware subscriptions in the past. Some may remember the Xbox 360 Kinect bundle that cost $ 99 but required a 2 year subscription to Xbox Gold Live which cost $ 15 a month. This seems to be another attempt by Microsoft to repeat this, but this time without a down payment and with a higher monthly fee.
On the other hand, $ 35 a month for a console and access to hundreds of games you do not hear such a bad offer, at least provided you already spend enough for your games and most importantly, you do not already have a console.
At the moment all of the above are rumors, nothing has been confirmed yet, but if the Xbox All Access sees the green light for its release it will be available in America for the first time until Microsoft sees its course, before bringing it to Europe.
