Xiaomi-Segway: Introduced 3 new products under the Ninebot Brand.

The company Segway is well known either for its technology in robotics or for its collaboration with Xiaomi through which many scooters have been released as ecological means of transport.

Σday, the company introduced 3 new products with its brand Ninebot, which we know quite well as Xiaomin M365 as well as Segway Ninebot.

The company has been working in this field for a long time and has managed to have big allies and sell thousands of scooters to private individuals. This is the reason why the manufacturer seeks to become the best in this field.

The company already has big names as customers, among which is Uber and Lyft who rent scooters to those who need them to move comfortably in the cities. Its head Ninebot, Gao Lufeng, explained that the new model, called KickScooter T60 , will be controlled remotely from Cloud, thus improving the cost of the company that had to collect these scooters from the city.

Scooter exchange companies pay staff to manually assemble their electric vehicles at the end of the day so that they can be recharged. Customers often leave the scooters in random places near their destination. Sometimes they even leave them lying on the sidewalks, and they become dangerous and also prevent people with mobility problems. This new scooter will have 3 wheels, unlike the previous models which have only 2 wheels.

This new model will also have wireless charging and easy battery removal. It will house a 6-core processor to process semi-automatic conductivity through an AI developed by the company.

The entire Scooter frame adds IPX5 support as well as a maximum weight of 120 Kg. The autonomy of this scooter is at 60 km in ECO mode. Its price will be close to 1000$ when released, and you can pre-order in China from September.

This scooter is really designed for all the companies that will rent them, so that they will be able to control them remotely.

But in addition to the Scooters, the company also introduced two distribution robots that are specifically for offices, shopping malls, hotels and hospitals. The first of these distribution robots is Segway S2 which will enter large-scale production in the first quarter of 2020.

The second external distribution robot will be the Segway X1, which will perform parcel delivery services, and will have special dynamic algorithms to avoid obstacles, using the technology vision + and didin +. It will be able to move in closed parks, industrial parks, urban roads, and in special lanes for non-motor vehicles, etc.

The Segway X1 will begin commercial testing with its first partners in January 2020.
