Mi 10i 5G: Will be powered by SD750G and will have a brand new 108MP camera sensor

The VP of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain, has published many teasers for My 10i 5G via his Twitter account.

Σwith a new video he recently uploaded to Twitter, o Manu Kumar Jain describes the upcoming Smartphone as a "extension»Of the series of Mi 10, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and even the Mi 10T Lite, which as he states belongs to him "Family tree".

What is certain so far is that Mi 10i has been specially designed for the Indian market and will use a brand new camera sensor in 108MP. This is immediately apparent from the numerous teasers that have been released recently, and the presentation of the device will take place on January 5.

As you can see in this teaser video, the quad camera of the phone becomes visible, as well as the two labels that say “108 MP AI Camera" and "Built for 5G“. Xiaomi was one of the first Smartphone manufacturers to use the sensor ISOCELL HMX 108 MP, but now Jain reports that the Mi 10i will be equipped with a completely new sensor.

This means that the device will have the sensor HM2 of Samsung which was released last September, and the main difference is that it does 9-in-1 binning instead 4-in-1 that the previous one did ISOCELL HMX 108 MP.

The My 10i 5G will use a relatively new chipset - the Snapdragon 750G which was also introduced last September and the My 10T Lite was the first phone to use it. This explains the device's complex family relationships with the "family tree" mentioned at the outset.

But the Mi 10i it will not be a variation of it My 10T Lite. The information shows that it will have a lot in common with Redmi Notes 9 Pro 5G. This means that the Mi 10i will be equipped with IPS LCD screen 6,67 ″ HDR10  with a renewal rate of 120 Hz, but also with battery in 4.820 mAh with wired fast charging in 33w.

There may be some additional modifications to the device for the Indian market, but we will find out in less than a week from today.

In Amazon India A page has been created specifically for this Smartphone, but it should also be available on Mi.com and Mi Stores of India immediately after its official release.

What we do know so far is that Mi 10i will not be available in markets other than India.
