Xiaomi CEO announces new CC series, and explains what their name means.

The number in the code name CC9 represents the age of the company which is 9 years. This is not the first time Xiaomi has changed the name of a Smartphone to celebrate its birthday - the Mi 7 was omitted and the company went straight from the Mi 6 to the flagship Mi 8 last year.

The smartphones of the series Xiaomi CC will therefore be the company's third brand after Redmi and Mi. This will be a different series, designed by art students and aimed at young people trendsetters of fashion that "want to define themselves". The team Chic & Cool 90 has as its main goal the aesthetics, which means that the Smartphones of this series will have less impressive specifications, and will belong to the middle class.

The new phones in the series CC, will implement all these aesthetic ideas through the operation "Xiaomi X Meitu AI Aesthetics Lab, Which will combine advanced camera equipment and beauty technology through software.

On the devices of the new series CCThe Xiaomi is going to apply even more beauty filters and smart software (Ai) to enhance the photos - something in which the Meitu is specialized.
