Her new smartphone series Xiaomi will be called CC, and as Lei Jun explained to us, CEO of the company, these Smartphones will be dedicated to young and creative people.
Τthe first Smartphone of this series is expected to be named Xiaomi CC9 and will be officially unveiled on July 2nd.
The date was announced on the company's Weibo account, and the invitation to the event states that it will take place in Beijing.
We do not have official confirmation of the features of the device yet, but we expect to see a Smartphone with triple camera on the back, which will be mounted on a special rotating mechanism (Slide-Up), similar to the one we saw in Asus Zenfone 6.
The second Smartphone of the new series will be named CC9e, and over the weekend, the company released some Teaser commercials, revealing some of the concepts that this new CC series represents.
According to Teaser, the CC translates from Xiaomi as Chic & Cool - Curious & Creative - Challenge & Carry and Camera Clicks.
The devices are a result of Xiaomi partnership with Meitu, and will belong to the middle class in terms of their features and pricing.
