Η Xiaomi seems to intend to invade our homes not only with small smart accessories that make life easier, but also with large appliances, such as the refrigerator that is presented today on its official website.
The Xiaomi Yunmi Smart 301L refrigerator is a smart refrigerator with a capacity of 301 liters. But smart in what sense? Well, the first thing it can do is connect to the Internet, and run a special operating system called iLive 2.0.
Thanks to this operating system, the refrigerator is able to keep food at the ideal temperature without having to worry about anything. In addition, through the application you can adjust the temperature and the various parts of the refrigerator.
The refrigerator actually has 3 doors with three autonomous cooling sections, for example we can adjust the top to a temperature ranging from 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, the central section, which can be adjusted from 8 to -18 degrees, and, finally, the freezer in the lower part with a temperature of -15 to -25 degrees.
The different temperatures you choose should not differ from the real ones, as there are 5 thermometers in different areas of the device that ensure that there will be no deviations.
If you do not want to use the app to control the temperatures, you can make any adjustments you want from the beautiful OLED screen on the front. This display shows the different temperatures inside the refrigerator, the outside temperatures, the weather, the time and even the amount of particles in the air, to remind you that it may be better to close the windows and doors in the your home, and turn on an Xiaomi air filter (especially in China who have a serious problem with air pollution).
As for the dimensions, this new refrigerator (not the first released by Xiaomi) is of medium size, height 190cm, width 58,5cm and depth 69,8cm. On the other hand, the capacity per zone is 164 liters for the top, 44 liters for the middle and 93 liters for the freezer, while its weight is 70 kg.
Aside from its smart features and internet connection, the Xiaomi Yunmi Smart 301L refrigerator is a fairly common refrigerator, as there are no cameras inside to see what's inside without getting up from the couch or a 10-inch screen that can be used as a Tablet.
Its simplicity is also reflected in its price, as it costs only 3399 yuan, about 430 € in China, and is still a good price, considering its design and the very good build quality of all Xiaomi products, but and the various functions offered by the device.
