According to a post on the official China forum (miui.com), Redmi has decided to abandon the development of MIUI Beta ROMs, with immediate effects on various devices such as the Redmi 3S, Redmi 4, Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4A.
ΑThese devices will not receive the MIUI Global Beta ROM update, and more specifically the devices affected by the decision are as follows.
- Redmi Note 4

- Redmi 3X
- The Redmi 4 series
- Redmi 4A
- Redmi Note 3SE
- Pro redmi
Specifically, the post from miui.com states,
The other devices will not be affected at this time. If there are changes for other devices, we will notify the users. It is recommended that you upgrade to the latest fixed ROM if you are using the Developer ROM for the above devices.
For Mi friends who have a strong desire to try out the new MIUI features, we will have a program in the future, allowing users to try out the stable version before it is fully released.

Xiaomi did not specify whether the above announcement also concerns the Indian version of the RedMi Note 4, also known as the Redmi Note 4X, but since the same announcement is made in the Mi Community of India, it would not be wrong to assume that the Redmi Note 4 ( 4X), Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime in India will not receive any further MIUI Global Beta updates.
The Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A were released in the first half of 2017 and are only 2 years old, and Xiaomi released the latest Global Beta update for the Redmi Note 4 in December 2018.
