Xiaomi: Introduces the new Mi NoteBook 14 & Horizon Edition on June 11 in India - Will they be available in Europe?

After months of inactivity, the Xiaomi seems to be finally ready to release its own Mi NoteBooks in the Indian market.

Τa news Mi NoteBooks will be presented next week through an online event to be held in India, and as always, the company has started leaking one by one the specifications they will have, as part of its advertising campaign.

Η Xiaomi India had earlier confirmed Xiaomi's intentions to launch other products and gadgets besides smartphones in the Indian market. So we saw Xiaomi launch in the country and audio products (such as Mi True Wireless Earphones 2) - various household appliances and Mi Box 4K.

But laptops were a stagnant category in India for Xiaomi, and this favored several other manufacturers to flood the country's market with many offers that have very little difference between them. THE Xiaomi now hopes to shake the stagnant waters in the country with Mi NoteBook 14, which will make its world debut in India on 11 June.

Some of the company executives shared photos showing the packaging of the new NetBook which has the name Mi NoteBook Horizon Edition. It is possible that there will be a regular version, at a lower price. As reported by Manu Kumar Jain (head of Xiaomi India), will be a brand new laptop that will make its world debut in India, and not just a renaming of a laptop released by Xiaomi for the Chinese market. It will be a slim and lightweight NoteBook that will emphasize portability and battery life, as suggested by recent tweets.

Design

Its entire design My NoteBook has not yet been revealed, but based on what we see, it appears to be a sleek device with a metal body, and there does not appear to be any logo on the lid.

It will have a beautiful screen with minimal hoops (Bezel), which according to Ishan Agarwal will have a diagonal on 14 inches, placing it in the category of Ultra-Book. We expect the screen to have a standard resolution Full HD. The interesting thing is that based on what we see in the posters, this new Xiaomi NoteBook does not appear to have a webcam above the screen, which could mean that it will not be on any of the Mi NoteBooks on display or that it will be positioned along the bottom panel.

Xiaomi also confirmed the new Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition will be powered by the latter Intel Core i7 10th generation, but the exact CPU SKU is not yet clear, as Intel's portfolio includes almost 20 different CPUs in this category.

It will also have an SSD, making all operations faster in terms of launching and running applications. Some information about the RAM that it will have not been announced yet, but we are waiting to see at least 8 GB RAM at least in some of the variants of the new NoteBook.

Things are not clear in the field of graphics either. We doubt this NoteBook will have a separate graphics card like a serial card Nvidia GTX. The built-in graphics Intel Iris on the other hand is insufficient for a modern NoteBook that is equipped with i7 and SSD. This makes us believe that at least the new Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition will make use of some GeForce MX350, which is a relatively new GPU and has not yet made its debut in India, or instead integrates MX250 GPU which is a very popular choice in slim and light laptops.

Price

We are waiting for some variations of it to become available Xiaomi MiNotebook, with the top of all being priced around 70.000 Indian Rupees (~ 925 $ / 818 €).
