ΤLast July of this year, Xiaomi announced a new line of Smartphones with a focus on photography for the Chinese market. The first products in this new lineup were the Xiaomi Mi CC9 and the Xiaomi Mi CC9e.
While the Mi CC series was exclusively for the Chinese market, the Smartphones themselves under a different name were also released in the international market. So the Mi CC9 was released in Europe as the Mi 9 Lite, while the Mi CC9e was released in Europe and India as the Mi A3. Today, Xiaomi went ahead with the next Smartphone of the same series, releasing the Mi CC9 Pro in China, which from tomorrow will be released as Mi Note 10 in Europe (Spain).

We have known the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro extensively through the teaser and the information that Xiaomi shared richly with us last week, so we already knew what to expect.
The cameras of the device
The Mi CC9 Pro's biggest "weapon" against the competition is obviously its camera, as it is the most ambitious and flexible combination of sensors and camera lenses that Xiaomi has incorporated into any of its devices so far.
There are many notable points that should be mentioned for the installation of the five-way camera that the device has, so we will start with the first: the Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor at 108MP.
The biggest advantage that this main camera brings to 108MP, is its naturally large sensor (1 / 1,33 ″), which will allow the camera to absorb more light in low light scenarios. As expected, you can either choose to use the binning pixel to combine four pixels into one, and take a photo at 27MP (default), or take a full resolution photo at 108MP.
The regular Mi CC9 Pro comes with 7P lens adjustment, while the Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition (which has more RAM and storage) comes with 8P lens adjustment. The camera also has OIS (Optical Stabilization), so the photos you take will remain unaffected by the movements of your hand.
The second high resolution camera on the Mi CC9 Pro is the telephoto lens 5MP, that supplies 5x optical zoom together with OIS (Optical Stabilization). This camera is capable of 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom, so you can take pictures from a great distance.
As for the other cameras, the Mi CC9 PRO has one camera with wide angle lens at 20MP , One 12MP camera for portraits and one special Macro sensor . The phone also has a quad-LED flash (quad LED), which will help you take photos in the dark. On the front of the device there is of course and 32MP selfie camera, housed inside the waterdrop notch of the screen.
Note that the device (Mi 9CC PRO Premium) received an overall rating for the camera from DXOMark, at 121 points, and is equal to the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro.
Balance design and features
Moving on to the design, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro comes with 6.43 ″ OLED screen that is curved at the edges, although its curves are not as sharp as the waterfall screen of the Mate 30 Pro.
The Mi CC9 Pro "wears" the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, Qualcomm which is a fairly powerful SoC, and is intended for use on smartphones that belong to the middle class in terms of price. The phone will be available in various RAM and storage size options, such as: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
Xiaomi is also releasing a Premium Edition (Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition), which apart from the additional lens on the main camera (8P), we could not distinguish any other differences compared to the simple version of the device.
The Mi CC9 Pro also has a great battery at 5.260 mAh which he supports fast charging up to 30W . Xiaomi claims that this fast charging technology is faster than 40 W, as it does not have a sharp drop in charging speed when the phone reaches high charging rates. According to Xiaomi, half an hour of charging "charges" 58% of the battery, while a full charge takes only 65 minutes.
The capacity of the battery makes the features of this device even more impressive. The Mi CC9 Pro also has some additional features, such as NFC and IR Blaster, but it also has 3,5 mm headphone jack which will delight many users.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro comes in three color variants: Black, Green and White.
Prices
In terms of price, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has the following prices….
- The version with 6GB + 128GB is priced at CNY 2.799 (~ $ 399 / ₹ 28.000 / € 359)
- The version with 8GB + 128GB is priced at CNY 3099 (~ $ 442 / ₹ 31.000 / € 397)
- The version with 8GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 3.499 (~ $ 499 / ₹ 35.000 / € 448)
Keep in mind that this pricing only applies to the Chinese market, and Xiaomi's new Smartphone will be released in Europe as the Mi Note 10 at slightly higher prices.
It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
