According to the latest news, the mass production by Xiaomi for the new has already started Mi Band 8 and soon it will be officially presented initially for the Chinese market. Apart from the design changes, we expect the Xiaomi smart band 8 to come with the usual sensor for all-day heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring (SpO2), sleep and stress monitoring, etc.
There will be at least up to 120 special functions for monitoring sports activities and detailed records of physical fitness such as VO2 max, PAI etc.
There could also be some other variants of the Xiaomi Mi Band 8. According to the certification at MIIT China, apart from the basic version there will also be models M2240B1 and M2241B1, which could be the Xiaomi Band 8 Pro or Xiaomi Band 8NFC. The Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Pro will have GPS like the other variants, however the variant with NFC it is expected to be released in some countries other than China.
Considering the previous Mi Band release dates in previous years. Then Xiaomi might release the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 8 until the end of this quarter.
